This is a defense convention against weak 2 in heart/spade: 

2 H / 2S - ? 
Cue: Asking for a stopper. 
4C: Strong two suit hand with club and the opposite major suit. 
4D: Strong two suit hand with diamond and the opposite major suit. 
4NT: Strong two suit hand with both minor suits.
