We can develop BQ in more directions, but because of lack of time, we can develop only one of them. Help us deciding what should we develop first:

Partnership Defense - Pair must solve defensive problem on a prepared board and computer is always declarer. Everything should look very much the same as bidding contest. The difference is of course that this time you are not bidding, but playing cards with your partner. You could solve many boards at once, playing one card and then waiting for your partner. For serious partnerships this is probably most interesting feature.

Dealer - A set of boards is dealt under user defined constraints. Then pair bid these boards in similar style as bidding contest. We could allow opponents to intervene. This feature would be similar to what BBO is offering as bidding practice. Bidding would be similar to current bidding contest style - players not necessary logged at the same time, archive of old boards and reports. Of course there would be no scores for final contract.

Declarer Play - You are declarer, computer plays defense on predealt bords. If declarer play is not perfect, contract goes down.

I think a feature which allows a single player to bid the hands with themselves as partner. Maybe insert a 24 hour delay before sending the hand back for next bid. Seems good for a person to yell at themselves Smiley

Thanks

You can bid with yourself if you create another nick.
