Bidding Quest started 1997 when Woody started a bidding contest called Bidding Challenge on his Website Bridge Arkade. The bidding was done by email, and Wody had to update everything manually. Bidding sets 1-17 were made for this purpose, and site become very popular. In fact it so much work was needed, that it was impossible to find time for it, so in 1999 the contest was closed.
Then Todi got an idea of making a bidding tool so he could practice bidding with his partner. He got help from Dule to make first version of what is now called BiddingQuest. Since he hadn’t copyright to any bidding sets with scores, he found Woodys Bridge Arkade and they started to cooperate. The BiddingQuest site started in August 2001.
In first five years BiddingQuest was hosted by Jun (thank you) and did not need any installation.
In summer 2006 Woody and Todi met for second time and decided to put BiddingQuest on higher level. In March 2007 we released first version of new BiddingQuest program. BiddingQuest is now standalone program, faster and with more features. We are constantly improving programs and adding new boards.
Enjoy, and tell your friends about it.
